We are extending the Marchstone network of close protection and residential security operatives for assignments in the United Kingdom and overseas.
Operatives are engaged assignment by assignment, which allows each principal to be matched to the people their circumstances require.
Residential Security Team
Team member
- An in-date SIA close protection licence
- FREC 3, or First Aid at Work as a minimum
- A full United Kingdom driving licence
- Available for work in the United Kingdom and overseas
Team Leader and Personal Protection
Senior appointments
- All of the above
- Five years on residential security or personal protection tasks
- Advance planning and reconnaissance, protective formations and secure movement, secure vehicle operations
- A short account of your background and experience
Those who prove themselves on residential tasks are developed toward team leadership and personal protection work. If you have completed a close protection course recently and want to build experience with a firm that takes the work seriously, that route is open.

Advanced training is sponsored both domestically and abroad, and advancement is earned through demonstrable skill, analytical ability and professional bearing rather than tenure.
Selection extends beyond the standards customary to the industry. A four-stage methodology examines technical competence, physical presence, analytical ability and work ethic. All appointments are subject to vetting to BS 7858:2019.
